Today, 10th September 2016, HIMTI was holding an event that is exclusive for BINUSIAN 2020, which is HTTP. HTTP stands for HIMTI Togetherness and Top Performance. They also taken an unique idea which is “Passion, Innovation and Togetherness”. But before, they also held an event for learning C language which is PBC. And for the HTTP, I’ll tell you about my experience about it. Well, in my experience, we came in 2 shift of buses, the first one departed at 6.50 am, and arrived there at 7.25 am, and the second bus departed at 7.40 am, and arrived there around 8.15 am. And actually I’m in the second bus. In the bus, the participant were asked for their ticket, and for the participant whose ticket had gone away, they give them a paper for the ticket subtitute.

After sitting in the bus for awhile, I was arriving at BPPT’s second building, as soon as I get out of the bus, my shift immediately divided into 2 lines. After that, we went up to the 3rd floor to test and see a few games, which developed by few BINUSIAN senior. There were some cool games, which involved Virtual Reality or VR, some used as android apk or iphone ipa, and there are some web games that created using html, also some games that read the user’s gesture. Many of the games are cool, but some of them still needed an update. But almost all of the game creator didnt come into HTTP for presenting their games. After playing for awhile, I came into the auditorium room, there I watched Zootopia until around 9.00 am, they turn off the film, and left it at the climax, making the participant go crazy. After that they started the show by coming as a futuristic robot. Then, a band  came out from the backstage, their band’s name is Peanut Butter Band. They brought 2 songs, the first one was an indonesian song, Panah Asmara, and the second was Back in Anger.

After watching their performance, 1 of 2 mc’s already taking the stage, and showed us a video about the other mc. So, we watched it, getting along, and booom! The other mc came from the back, running towards the stage. And by the time the other mc reached the stage, they began to introduce their name. They were a male-female couple, so she introduced her name. Her name is Clarissa Valencia, and his name is Sandy Alta Tadette. At first they welcomed and thanked us because we came there. They explained a few about HTTP, and followed by HTTP’s Chairman, Martin Aliando Teng. Continued by the head of HIMTI Kemanggisan, Jonathan Gozali, also by the chariman and head of HIMTI Alam Sutera, Rionaldo Aureri Linggautama. Then we got an introduction from all of the Computer Science’s head, which led by the Dean of School of Computer Science Binus University, Mr. Fredy Purnomo S.Kom, M.Kom. After the long introduction, a man shows up in the screen, and that was the Vice Rector Student Affairs & Community Development, Drs. Andreas Chang, MBA.

After the finishing line, another man stands up in the stages and he started to introduce himself, his name is Adam Sidqon, and he is a youtuber, binusian and he is also a singer. He shared a little bit about his experience in binus university, saying about his pasts. He sang a few songs that made us feel relaxed, and between that songs, he sang his own song, which named “Deskripsiku Untukmu”. Actually it was a really great song, the lyrics was touching me, and in his last performance, he sang jealous by Nick Jonas. His voice couldn’t reach the high tone sometimes, but it was worthy to hear. Again, the mc came to tell us about the next event. After the chit-chat in the stage, we got into the game session. They pick 7 persons, and only 1 of them is female. They played connecting words, so the rules was about making a sentence without changing the previous words. Some words made the audiences laughed, and some was dull. But overall, it was funny to hear. At that time we felt so hungry, so we asked for break time, and its really break time, so we were recieved our meal, and I got out from the auditorium, going to the 4th floor, looking for the bazaar and the stands. There were so many stands, few of them were, churros stand, katsu stand, milo’s stand, nescafe’s stand (this is free), hot dog stand, and many more. After the long break, around 90 minutes, we gone back to our seat, and the mc went in, then we were in the talkshow session. The talkshow is brought by Jaya Mahardika, and the guests were Reinhard Lazuardy, Christian Tarunajaya, and Nathanael Febrianto. The three of them are the  few of binusian that innovate and created things, like the psychologic reader from the people’s tweets which was made by nathanael, or the indonesian talking robot that made by christian and reinard. They told us about how they created it. They have a long journey, until at last, they can come with an innovation, that maybe can change the people’s mindset about working. After they said their last word, they left the stage and, Jaya Mahardika giving thanks and followed them.

After that we were brought into the visualization, which is a drama about WAH (HIMTI Activist Interview), there were 8 players, they are cicilia, guntur, ricky, paijo, kasmaran, park jee jay, bertus, caroline. It told us about how important it is to have team work, to have someone to support you. And by the time it ended, many people wanted to see park jee jay, they chanted her name and she got on stage
saying a few words and go back to the backstage.

After a long drama, we needed a break, so we had break time, and we mostly just wandering in 4th floor, doing nothing. And by the time we got back, all of the chair were gone, and most of the people were sitting on the floor waiting for the DJ to come out. But, a female dance group, Revolution, got into the stage, dancing a few song and got back to the backstage. After that, Vibing High, a semi-rock-band got into the stage and played around 5 songs. Then a DJ got out and we got a few songs, which most of the participant enjoyed it, jumping in front of the stage, hyped up, and some people in the back just looking from afar. After a few songs, like around 20 minutes, they calmed down and we got to line and wait for our turn to get out. When we were able to get out, we were taking our merchandise, which included pin and t-shirt as a merchandise. It was a cool t-shirt, but some of the students didnt listened to the himti staff, and they trespassed and managed to got home early, and for the second shifters they make it late. Well, not forgetting the fact that the merchandise is not only a t-shirt and pin, but we got a kit, named HIMTI kit. A HIMTI kit is a kit that included some softwares that will be used in some of our classes, so it can be so important to some of us.
